Should probably start thinking about this aspect of the build.

OneFiddy has been dead to the system for a while now, and I was wanting to know how one goes about re-registering the bitch.
I know nothing so where do I go, what do I need to provide, what will be checked on the car, etc etc,

And how much are we talking to get it all good again.

I still have the old plates, old rego card in window and even an old warrant sheet for her in case I need to prove she once lived here.

Id recommend taking it to VINZ by the airport and talking to Steve. He has been a huge help getting Aim's and my BC5 legal again (it had swapped VIN plates when we got it).

We have just got to the Compliance stage and will need to get a repair cert for some repairs that were done to the front end and replace the rear brake discs but that was expected.

If you take it to them with everything stripped out including carpets, seats, plastic trim etc it shouldn't cost you any more than $200. That's what I was told anyway, although I haven't seen a bill yet.

Also, I was told that although our car is an 89, because it wasn't registered in NZ until after 1991 they have to do the full inspection.
