It's the one single thing that the US got that we want. I am in fact going to import one and build it into a monster :D Our EJ20G is a motor that makes god-like noises though, and makes more power than the 2.2L turbo, so can't complain :D

is this relevant to US models, mechanically speaking?

It's not relevant I'm sorry. Well, only half.

Yeah, as mentioned, we got a few DOHC models, and the only turbo models were DOHC 2L. The 2.2L turbo you guy's get is extremely different to out turbos. It's essentially the same engine as a 2.2 N/A, with a turbo bolted on. I don't even think they lowered the compression ratio... instead the just used a fucking tiny turbo. The intake manifold, and heads and everything are just borrowed straight off the 2.2L N/A. Only thing is the block was closed deck... Which is fucking awesome... I want a closed deck 2.2 so badly...

If you stick to the 2.2 N/A section, and don't bother with the turbo section, you should be ok. The turbo stuff will be of minimal use to you.

<Shale>: Blighter doesn't really have an accelerator pedal, it's more just a loudness pedal. You can change volume, but you won't go any faster.

<mjlqtown>: (Southern US accent) I'v excised the demon! This car is now clear!

<Reuben>: I feel like when you stomp the throttle in Blighter, it's like you've startled an old man!
