Uhh yeah, I have photos from this. :D Only a few turned out semi-decent though, stupid setting meant it kept resetting to friggin' Auto ISO mode, meaning seriously shit noisy, grainy photos. :x Figured I should probably post them anyway, seeing it was the 1st meet and everything.

Eh, I've seen significantly worse photos posted from cruises... these are really nicely done :D

I'd say that's my favourite of the bunch... lighting captured there makes muh head go boom! :) Thanks for posting these :)

Next trick. Get Leonidas and his blue twin on the road so there are twice as many next time!

HNNNNNNNGH PHOTOSHOP.

Yeah, that tends to lend itself tremendously. Don't you love the irony that a decent photo is far easier to do a lot more to, but it doesn't need it like the bad photos? Guess who has to deal with bad photos all day :D

Was a pretty cool opportunity to stretch the camera's legs tho eh.

Yeah Shale, I just wish I had a better computer to run it on... laptop doesn't really like obese 70MB files this camera produces. Turns it into a bloody good heater though! :D

And yeah, it is the great irony. Unfortunately I'm not one of those people who can take amazing photos without any touching up... and I end up with extra time on my hands anyway. :) Also yep, that was the first time I'd used the camera properly since I got it into the country (and actually the first time I'd really used a DSLR at all) - didn't perform that badly I reckon. I took it into town today though, and got some wayyy nicer shots.

Hopefully it won't be too long before that blue beast is going... *sigh*

Town is awesome for learning how to operate the monster :D

Amen to the thigh-burnage with useless laptops. My dear wee Mac is getting on in years too and blows a forehead vein on a regular basis. So I know the pain! Oh well, it's a good opportunity to sit and drum your fingers, make a sandwich...epic wait is epic :|
