<Shale>: Blighter doesn't really have an accelerator pedal, it's more just a loudness pedal. You can change volume, but you won't go any faster.

1.Steering light in dash is on
2.ABS light is on
3.Car feels like its running 8-10psi, I havnt put a gauge on yet to confirm, but its a STI RA V4 ecu and should be set to about 15-16psi, im not running any boost controllers just the stock v3 boost solenoid , everything is stock,(followed this thread exactly lol)
4.car overheated as soon as I drove it for 5 mins i changed the radiator with another as the original one wasn't getting hot, and fans weren't turning on, top hose was hot and bottom cold. new radiator in and fans turn on, car overheated still but not to the top of the gauge more like 3 quarters, bottom hose still cold, even with fans turning on... heaters blowing out cold air on full heat setting, and can hear bubbling behind dash, now im going to try a few things to remedy this, does sound like the heater is blocked, Im going to bypass the heater core and change the thermo and see who that goes.
5. did a CEL check and it just constantly flashes no particular code.. I would've thought the 02 sensor
code would've come up as its not connected but it didnt lol
any help or opinions would be great
thanks

2. Dunno, do a diagnosis.
3. Does the hose between the turbo and wastegate actuator have the restrictor pill in it?
4. Heater core.
5. O2 won't throw a code for fricken ages. Do a D check - plug in the greens by themselves and go for a drive until the CEL starts flashing. That will tell you everything you need to look at.

As for the rack, are you using the original gt rack, or did you install an impreza rack?

yes I changed pumps, as the new eng came from a later model bg-c type so it had a kink in the power steering line into the pump, and the one I have in the wagon was a straight pipe into the pump, so used the orignal pump for the car.Have you changed pumps then? Or is the wire to the rack broken or unplugged? Yeah, you need to sign up.
i havnt checked the plug to rack just yet. will do when I get back from my welly trip this weekend.

Very very few of those problems are related to the single conversion. In fact, I would say only the boost issue, and the boost issue alone. Did you swap wires at the ecu end to get the STi ecu talking to the correct boost solenoid? If you don't, the STi ecu's talk to the solenoid in the front left guard.
As for the rack, are you using the original gt rack, or did you install an impreza rack?
fixed boost issue

im extremely impressed with the cars performance the vf23 pulls effortlessly its faster then my RA at the moment lol
rack is orignal to the car
cheers

Take the bulb out.
This. It is redundant, impreza clusters don't even have em. The light will come on in the steering solenoid is not working right, impreza racks don't have a steering solenoid.

I've got a 93 GT Legacy that had this conversion done, it runs all good until I go up hills then the check engine light will come on. I've been told that the ecu that I've got in it is still for the twin turbo, the ecu is an r6 and it has a mines chip, could this be the problem and would I have to change to a v3/4 ecu?
