Hey ladies,

Hope all is well and you received all the car parts you politely asked for from Santy! Joined the classic? Subaru club just prior to Christmas when I brought home this 91 BF5 GT as a bit of a project. She's in need of a bit of love but that's all part of the fun yeah?

Looking to bring both the mechanical and aesthetics of the car to a good condition along with some modifications for all round improvement and enjoyment! Since owning I've installed inverted red KYB struts with King lowering springs out of a V5 STi Type R, purchased GTB twin spoke wheels fitted with RE003s (the primary reason I bought them) and performed a few basics like engine oil / filter etc. You be the judge of the V5 KYBs, I'm quite happy with how it sits despite being a touch lower in the rear...

Some of you may recognise me from ClubSub, if not then check out my thread on ClubSub forum for specific dets! Have already read a ton of Gen 1 specific info on here and look forward to gathering further knowledge.

Nice! I love the ol two-tones, def a classy early 90’s look about em. She looks in good shape already too!

Hope you enjoy the club, and do please shout out if you need some technical deets! It may be pretty quiet here on the forum these days, but the community is active, happy to help, and Flatnats is consistently pulling the crowds!

<Shale>: Blighter doesn't really have an accelerator pedal, it's more just a loudness pedal. You can change volume, but you won't go any faster.

<mjlqtown>: (Southern US accent) I'v excised the demon! This car is now clear!

<Reuben>: I feel like when you stomp the throttle in Blighter, it's like you've startled an old man!
