Hey fellas,

Will 17x9 +35 fit on a BC5 RS? Considering importing a set of wheels, I can get ahold of a guard roller if need be.

Interested to see what setups everyone's running

Short answer: Nope.

Long answer: Tenchically yes they will bolt on. They will sit proud of the arches, will look silly, like you're trying to go stance, but failing hard. Would need some work to make it look good (epic camber, slammed etc), but that is possible if handling is of no concern.

If handling and looks are both important, a higher offset would be required to get a more flush look. That would nescitate coil overs though, as going higher than 35 would make the tyres rub on the spring seats with a 9" width.

<Shale>: Blighter doesn't really have an accelerator pedal, it's more just a loudness pedal. You can change volume, but you won't go any faster.

<Reuben>: I feel like when you stomp the throttle in Blighter, it's like you've startled an old man!

Sweet, yeah realized I'm running 17x6.5 +35 at the moment so 9 wide will be insane.

So 17x7ish and 40ish offset would be ideal

Will look good. 8" wide is also possible I think... V7's and up use 8" wide with 235/45R17's wrapped around them, 40+ something offset on the stock wheels though... But they may (probably) will foul on the struts, so a lower offset would be desired.

17x7 to x8 is the sweet spot.
