Bc5 89 legacy rs sedan current

Posted 12 April 2015 - 2:56 AM

Hi all,

So i purchased some rear cusco adjustables to put in my bc5.
I watched the guy remove them from the rear of a gc8 so they were in the rear, installed them into my.car yesterday when they were bolted in the shock and hub was at the height from where it would be on the ground.so went to adjust them and i had no extra thread to wind up with.
Now my question is, is it possible that a preivous owner put a front set of adjusties in and swapped the top hats to the rear set.

Will try and upload photos cheers

well you are going from GC to BC so they will be a different weight and body height...... you may not have enough for that car.

Seems unlikely rears and fronts would be swapped, are the clavices not different? Maybe that particular model shock really can be used in GC only. Don't forget GC rears are the shortest rear shocks of them all.

<Shale>: Blighter doesn't really have an accelerator pedal, it's more just a loudness pedal. You can change volume, but you won't go any faster.

<mjlqtown>: (Southern US accent) I'v excised the demon! This car is now clear!

<Reuben>: I feel like when you stomp the throttle in Blighter, it's like you've startled an old man!

Looks like they're damper adjustable? Probably just set too low so making noises as the fluid moves around.
