So this Saturday Mitch, Shale and I depart Queenstown in the Beast, and we're snaking our way up the country back home to Auckland for a couple of weeks. We'll be arriving Monday afternoon, and will be in town for a day or two, before going further north for Christmass with the whanau.

Plans are, some camping between Christmass and new years up north. We wanted Tawharanui but were too slow on the uptake and missed out bookings, so dunno where we'll be at this stage, other than north. kai-iwi lakes? waipu? Then back in town for new years and several days after, before heading off south again over a whole week staying in coro, gisbourne, welli, nelson and finally home.

So, we need a moa night, two options are on Tuesday the 23rd, or sometime in the first week of january. Who's around for what?

<Shale>: Blighter doesn't really have an accelerator pedal, it's more just a loudness pedal. You can change volume, but you won't go any faster.

<mjlqtown>: (Southern US accent) I'v excised the demon! This car is now clear!

<Reuben>: I feel like when you stomp the throttle in Blighter, it's like you've startled an old man!

I'm good for a Moa night on the 23rd hopefully (so long as Alyx hasn't made plans). Otherwise can do first week of January. Let me know (I'm barely on here these days :( not enough time or money for daydreaming about owning a car again)

Nah, we're doing west coast up and down. You guys are welcome to visit in Nelson, we're staying for a couple days there! Also we have plans to stay for a day in Welly too, gotta see the Welly crew, definitely the heart of DOBC!

yeh it was pretty sweet, been a few years since I had that, I need to update my avatar.
It did have tyga pipes on it and lots of other go fast goodies at the time.

I now have another suzuki after my zx10r was written off last month.

Well we ended up shooting straight to wellsford after getting to Auckland, and are now camping out wenderholm way.

We're going to be back in Auckland on the 30th to pick up a mate flying up from qt to join us for New Years, and we'll be in town for a few days, I think the 4th. So there's plenty of time to have catch ups for those that haven't already left town for the break.

So what day best suits to have a wee meet and dinner? Or should we just catch up with people 1 by 1? We still plan on having a Korean BBQ night on the 30th now.
