I am looking at skipping 4pot front brakes and going straight to brembos. But don't really want to fit the brembo rears due to the huge amount of hassle. Would gtb rear brakes be OK or would the brake balance be too far out? Cheers

My RS is pretty wandery with 4 pot fronts and RS rears and the DCCD on the lowest few settings. With it mid to locked, the car is very stable under heavy brakes. That's the DCCD helping spread the brake force evenly. If the difference is too great, it will fail a WOF.

Are the rotors the same size between BG gtb and sti brembos? So it would just be the difference in clamping force between single piston and two pot brembos.

GTB fronts are a 294mm rotor and brembo is 330mm rears use a 290mm which is the same as gtb.
My 2cents if you getting brembos put both and and use adapators for the rear, simple time. and upgrade your master cyclinder
