Very happy with the front brakes on RS but how to improve rears?

What cost effective 'swap over' options are out there that will improve rear braking without going to a R180 rear setup?

GTB rear hubs and disks a strait swap?

Whats out there?

BL/BP front and rear brakes.

Nice.........I'll stick with the 4 pots up front but will look at the rears. So the BL/BP rear disk and caliper will just bolt strait up?................and that's all that's needed?

sweet.........so just a strait swap of the disc and caliper?

i assume the added braking power is thru a larger caliper and pad?

Sup long time no hear.........what are ur vented rears off? Dai?.......and what calipers are you running?

I think factory BC is 266mm rear, BG GTB, normal STi etc is 290mm rear. There's many options, there's 2 handbrake sizes, and venter or solid. BG GTB is a DF7328S, 290, 170mm hand brake, vented. I think the caliper is a bolt on for BC's

You will need to swap hubs too, as the backing plates come up over the edge of the disc.

Will i need to swap hubs even for the bp/bl disk and cals? I was hoping to avoid a hub swap

well you cant put bl hubs on a bc they are a completely different rear end. I would just remove the stone guard if there is an issue, i had to do that when i went to a brembo rear on the bl.

Why not a pair of adaptors, 290mm discs and 2 pots?

The adaptors will be the big expense.

Yep had thort about that but want to keep costs down. A good option though. Yeah those adaptor brackets are pricy i looked at the Kart Boy ones
