So I was jacking my car up to remove bumper and get it ready for the twisted setup and I noticed someone has jacked it in the wrong points an severly bent the metal

Is this ok? Will it effect anything?!?!

pics not the best sorry but its at least 1-2cm deep with the dent

Those aren't jacking marks, they're from bottoming out, and that's a pretty tidy chassis rail to be honest. Nope, not a WOF issue
[20:30:58] <Pelvin> what are the handbrake shoes? are they only fitted on the rear?

Perhaps I'm lucky but that is the most untidy rail I've seen on all my subarus its very bent :/ There 2 marks on each rail where the jack stand has been sitting

Does this effect handling?

How do you figure it's a bottom out? There's no scrape marks. That's from being lifted in some way or another.

No, that shouldn't fail a WOF, *BUT*.... Be aware the WOF inspector can fail your car on whatever they deem unsafe. Then it's up to the owner (you) to prove it's not unsafe.

Scrape mark shown in attached. Probably not a rock to cause any deep gouges, maybe just solid dirt?

<Shale>: Blighter doesn't really have an accelerator pedal, it's more just a loudness pedal. You can change volume, but you won't go any faster.

<mjlqtown>: (Southern US accent) I'v excised the demon! This car is now clear!

<Reuben>: I feel like when you stomp the throttle in Blighter, it's like you've startled an old man!
