So I have a WRX seat with a broken reclining mechanism.

Does anybody know if a mechanism can be taken from another type of seat (Legacy etc), and put onto the WRX one, and if so, how easy it is to do?

Anybody done this before?

I think they can be swapped between seats. Pull the cover up a bit and throw a tape measure over them and compare.

Just rip into it man, in cases like this you've got nothing to lose if it goes wrong, and you score a good seat if it goes right! Start unscrewing things and go for gold.

<Shale>: Blighter doesn't really have an accelerator pedal, it's more just a loudness pedal. You can change volume, but you won't go any faster.

<mjlqtown>: (Southern US accent) I'v excised the demon! This car is now clear!

<Reuben>: I feel like when you stomp the throttle in Blighter, it's like you've startled an old man!

I'd guess you'd need the mechanism out of a gc bucket seat...

Possibly not. I swapped between BC and GC around 10 years ago and it worked fine.

That's the kind of thing I did want to hear... But before I rip into it myself, I'm gonna give the seat back to Jon and he'll see if he can sort it for me, seeing as I bought it off him lol
