Hi,

So in order to have the BC5 back on the road and down to the panel beaters for rust repair I need to reseal the leaking oil pump.

I went to the Winger today and got a cam belt, idlers, tensioner, cam seals, water pump, crank seal and a oil pump o-ring.

I'm going to need some help with it all, who can give me a hand next Sunday (28th April).

Pizza, beer, coke and appreciation provided

I don't know what tools are required, so if someone could let me know that too.

Thanks guys/girls,

Need this car back on the road!!!!!!!!

- Andy

P.S. I'm located in Whangaparaoa (I know it's a bit of a drive, sorry)

I can deal with the radiator and coolant, they are no concern for me. I just have no idea of what lies beneth the covers and how it goes.

Or wind a couple of self tappers into them and use pliers to pull them out. To be honest, I can't remember the last time I replaced cam seals. If they're not leaking, leave well enough alone!

The date is moving forward. FBSBC5 has kindly offered his time and is coming up Thursday 25th April give me a lesson in what needs to be done.

I've got work at 2pm is the only issue, so time is of the essence on the day.

Nice to meet you Andrew, let me know when you have the water pump to suit your setup there and I will come back up and finish the Tutorial.
