I miss my coupe. It's still at OMI.

I should buy it, fix the rust and hello track car.

Pull your handbrake just enough so the light comes on. That sends the ECU into full race mode.

I will be picking up a 89 Leone 1.8 tomorow, have to check what engine sits in it. Either EA81 or EA82. . Time will show.
I get it for the wrecking costs and free picks from a parts car.

It's probably an EA82, but what kind of injection is most common? Carb/SPFI/MPFI?

Depending on the car really BUT unless turboed then most likely Carby, Will be EA82 UNLESS it has been changed in its life span.

It's a Carby, Started working on it the other day, there is a spark, it gets fuel so the carb probably need to have a little overhaul.
Picked up a part motor from a 1.8GL FWD. The car was heading towards the wreckers so we just cut all the plumbing/wires. Unbolted the enginemounts and exhaust. Rolled the car on it's side and salvaged both the fuelpump and exhaust. Put it bak on its wheels. Got a tractor and bent the bumperbeam out of the way. Then we used the drivers seatbelt as a strap and lifted the engine out.

Well all you EJ engine enthusiasts need to be thankful for the success of the EA82(1800) SOHC engine

as this engine was what the EJ engine was developed from :P
