Cert clarification

I am just tossing up about installing the coilovers in the RA, I know that they will need a cert and that is no dramas.
What I do need to know is how long does it take to obtain the cert? if I book it in for the morning will I be out the door by lunch with my cert plate and ready to roll or is the process alot longer than this?
Also with my brake upgrade to 4pots on front do I need a cert for this? braided lines should be sweet as they have the tags on them.
Thanks in advance everyone, just tossing up if I get the coilovers and cert sorted before I get back or if I can sort it in a couple of days while I'm home.
Cheers
Mark

Now does anyone know how long it takes to get the cert plate? Have heard mixed reports of how long this takes. Some say a week while others say its straight away.
What are all of your personal experiences with this?

– the same size as the OE rotors, and
– catalogued aftermarket items for that make and model of vehicle (and can include
cross-drilled and/or slotted types), and
– attached to unmodified OE parts.

Just got a cert for the BL for the coil overs, guy came out to my work and checked the car over on one of the hoists, will take about a week to get the plate. I got the papers to say its all good though, pretty painless really apart from the $490 price tag.

i upgraded the brakes in my RA, passed a wof no trouble but the wof was pretty lenient as the guy knows me and the car. and i would say if someone was to question me on the brakes i'd say they were a factory option, only give away is the bent backing plates that my rotors are now bigger than. i would think if someone wanted to get picky on any given car the size of the brakes would be low down the list of easy to prove things.
