Ok, just tried to get the forum clock to tell me the right time. Currently its reading something like 1hr50mins slow or something (Maths... blargh!)
Am I the only experiencing this? How do I fix it?
Already tried to change it in my settings, I even put it to GMT +13 but the it was telling me it was 5:22 instead of 5:07. So gave up and here I am  lost as always with this technogiggery!

I think it's actually the server throwing up - it never quite tells the right time. I think Wiretap's tried, but to no avail. Has no control over it.

That's something that'll be fixed along the lines as the site fidgets around; given I have to learn about and do hosting for my web dev course, I'll probably grab the site by the horns mid next year and tackle this sort of thing :P

So yeah. TL;DR: I can't fix the site time :(

Clock is fubar. Don't even try to sort it out. I think Cam needs to kick the server or something to fix it....

Yah. It's the best option for now, though own server is the ideal. That's something I don't have the tech know-how right now to manage, but this time next year I'll have a piece of paper saying I can ;) (and here's hoping I stay awake during classes...)

It's a bummer having to have huge developments on ice for now, but I'll probably use the site as practise in good time - read: fiddle with stuff and make it awesome :D

I think its because its hosted offshore and we keep changing when we go into daylight saving and nobody in other countries really keeps track.

That's not the forum, that's your personal settings :P

Go into My Settings, then un-check DST correction. Make sure you're in the right time zone, and check currently in DST.

Edit: Okay my bad, mine's now throwing up blood too :unamused: It's an hour out also.

The good news is, very shortly, we will NOT be hosted overseas.
