A big welcome to our international guests

Dirty Ol' BC extends a warm welcome to all of our international friends!

This site is not a New Zealand only community; Subaru love extends far beyond the bounds of Aotearoa.

Furthermore, this site is not strictly for BC5 and BF5 Legacys. Here at DOBC we celebrate all 'classic' Subarus; if you can call your car a 'dirty ol' anything with an affectionate tear in your eye, then you're one of us. Dirty ol' GDB? Dirty ol' BE5? You belong here.

As areas get more popular, sub forums will appear specifically for them.

Party on with us, our international brothers and sisters.

Hi guys - great forum you got here

I'm signing in from the Isle of Man (UK, sort of).
I have a 1989 Grey RS (JDM) thats quite well modified. Have owned her about 11 years or so now, but she's just been in exile for 18 months or so while I had no space at home for her. Resolved today so I have a lot of neglect to sort out now!

I run another Legacy owner's site (www.uklegacy.com) and am also an old member on RSLCF.
Great to see a site dedicated to the original Legacy (the best kind obviously!). :D

Cheers fellas, there's a lot of people from here move out to NZ because they love it so much. Similar kind of place to here by all accounts but better climate etc.
Would love to visit one day, specially with all those RS's you have out there!

When I started my forum about 7 years ago I think it was only BC5 owners on there initially, but now there's not many of us left - we're a tiny minority to all the guys with newer TT wagons etc.

And yeah we do have some great roads here but half the time you get stuck at 40mph for a full journey. Too busy now here. <_<

Thanks for the comments. Yep, we do have a great community on there (I would say that of course!) and quite a lot of international members.

I like the crossover of info with members from other countries/communities etc - makes the world seem a touch smaller and friendlier and we all have a common interest to share so keep up the good work. :)

Isle of man + BC5 = wet dreams... Damn you, lucky lucky man...

It really is great to get some of the UK boys on the forum here, and I'm sure a few of us will be signing up there. We'll practically have a UK sister forum before long!
