Might pay to increase the character limit on sigs.

Say 500?

Pull your handbrake just enough so the light comes on. That sends the ECU into full race mode.

Potentially. We'll look into it.

Don't want annoyingly short like CS, but if people are putting enormous sigs in, it'll get chopped down.

I'll look into height/width limits instead, much like IDW.

The auto login thing doesn't appear to work either. And can the screen width be stretched out a bit? Normal size pics end up off the RHS of my screen.

Just found that out the hard way myself :D

It's an issue on other phpbb3 forums I patrol also. We're looking into WHY MUST IT DO THIS because it's effing frustrating.

Hopefully a solution on the way soon with a bit of research. Thanks for the heads up :)

Can links be made to open in a new tab/window, rather than over the existing one?

And remove the "NEW TOPIC" button from beside the "POST REPLY" button. Why do you need a new topic button when already in a topic?? That and I keep hitting the wrong button....

That's a phpbb3 feature. It'll take some PRO to remove it methinks...

A DIY section would be nice (such as the one found on; http://ozfoz.com/for....php?f=29&t=461), Where people who have done specific things (from changing oil to manual conversions etc) could post up a thread on how do it yourself. Would make things alot easier to find and would be a good resource once it's got a few things in it at a later date for those of us too useless to do a www search.

This is coming to DOBC is a fairly specific format.

The read-only workshop section will slowly grow to contain exactly this. Once something is resolved or posted here in the forums (eg: boostin's heater core bridge), it will be re-written as a single DIY post and posted as an article in the workshop for reference to everyone...including random browsers :D

The idea is to canvas most things so that people that don't want to google it have a one-stop shop. ;)

New section idea,

LEGAL

For stuff like:
Buying and selling (sugestions, info on the legalities etc)
WOF standards, what your car must have to be road worthy, what you can put on your car externally (eg lighting)
A list of things that WILL require certification if played with.

That sorta thing. All would be read only threads of collected information that is known to be accurate with sub threads for discussion (as we all like to bitch and moan about the rules)
