Not that I'm biased or anything, but...

...GOOD FUCKING LUCK finding a nicer, better cared for BF wagon. And you better stick around if you do fall in love with it! She's part of the big brown family here.

Fun fact. This car and its owner were one of the original sources of inspiration for DOBC. That, Sparta and Frank.

Gosh i think i better bow to pressure and stay well away then! Sorry boostin, but you dont have a potential buyer anymore :P

/jk

having spent 8 years in Perth in the tight-nit community that is P-WRX/NWC, seems that I have come home to a simlar bunch of "nut-cases", just JDM flavoured rather than that watered down, underpowerd ozzie taste they have over there....

havent made up my mind yet, still ginning around like an old mole as the back section is full of cars atm and I'm supposed to be moving house - but Ryan will be first to know when I get my act together :)

Ah, that'd explain the 'RS wagon' part, are the turbo liberty's actually labelled RS's too? But yeah, no such thing as a Legacy RS wagon as mentioned earlier.

And yep, I'm pretty sure the entire club would vouch for the tip top condition of boostins GT... Man if I had the cash... Mmmmmmmm.

I'll tip in and just say I've known this car for almost 5 years now and you would be VERY hard pressed to find a better looked after Gen1 Series 1 GT legacy.

At one point it was putting out more grunt than my STi ECU, AFM and Yellow injector'd SF5 Forester though I believe its somewhat closer ( :lolz: ) to standard since boostin decided that it was time to part ways. Engine and gearbox wise it is very tight, only thing that shows its age would be a couple of bits on the body. This car was one of the reasons I have so much respect for the BC/BF5's.

Edit: PS. If you do buy this car and ruin it your nuts on a stick I shall have if others don't get you first ;)

We may have met before.

Have you got chrome wheels on that RA of yours?

Pull your handbrake just enough so the light comes on. That sends the ECU into full race mode.

No chromes - shiney wheels weigh too much, and ruin handling

At the current rate of interest, I can see the rego being put on hold and the car put into storage. 34 watchers on TM and 2 tyre kicking texts so far.

Whoops, I'm thinking of someone else who actually did have a lot of rotating mass on their car which is also a Spec-C.

Pull your handbrake just enough so the light comes on. That sends the ECU into full race mode.

If I could buy it I would. But then Amy would slit my throat after I put my parallel turbo engine in it.

I can't even afford it. I would buy it purely for the colour.

Would my throat be slit if I bought it and didn't put a parallel twin in it?

If I won Lotto it would be staying put and be modded within an inch of it's life. It would get a full V10 EJ257 conversion, with a lot of extra mods. I would be expecting 300kw atw minimum. Maybe even a EZ36R-TT....

Sadly the EZ36 seems to hate turbos, and there's no 'R' as they ditched the AVLS :/
[20:30:58] <Pelvin> what are the handbrake shoes? are they only fitted on the rear?
