Hey guys,
Does anybody knows this car and its history? I have looked through the classifieds but the seller doesn't appear to be a DOBC member and no mention of it for sale here or on CS ( I could be wrong..?)

anyway, I'm looking to shuffle a few things around and like this girl, so if anybody has any info, id appreciate it.

Cheers

Chris

well i suppose silly things like:
does A/C +- heater work?
windows go up and down?
any wiring gremlims
window wipers - window wipe
rear demister etc
you know, simple things that make "life" easier/more comfy but some would over look.

Looks like its sorted engine/box/suspension wise for quite some time - I'm looking for something sorted to replace my current wagon that simply "works" and isnt TT etc.

I'm considering binning the short shifter too. The gearstick sits too far forward and I don't like it. The action is fine though, it's just the stick position.

If you fit a BE/BH (Rev D) or GD/GG shifter you get the short throw without the funky positioning, I use them in all mine now and love it...
[20:30:58] <Pelvin> what are the handbrake shoes? are they only fitted on the rear?

Not that I'm biased or anything, but...

...GOOD FUCKING LUCK finding a nicer, better cared for BF wagon. And you better stick around if you do fall in love with it! She's part of the big brown family here.

Fun fact. This car and its owner were one of the original sources of inspiration for DOBC. That, Sparta and Frank.

Gosh i think i better bow to pressure and stay well away then! Sorry boostin, but you dont have a potential buyer anymore :P

/jk

having spent 8 years in Perth in the tight-nit community that is P-WRX/NWC, seems that I have come home to a simlar bunch of "nut-cases", just JDM flavoured rather than that watered down, underpowerd ozzie taste they have over there....

havent made up my mind yet, still ginning around like an old mole as the back section is full of cars atm and I'm supposed to be moving house - but Ryan will be first to know when I get my act together :)
