wiring air temp sensor (link)

just wondering if anyone knows which 2 wires to use on the existing afm connector (which wire is ground an which is the temp signal)

ive looked at a few diagrams but there a little vague......i may be starring at the answer :lolz:

yea ive got that diagram having a look at it again i should be able to cross reference that with the ecu pinout to sort it ......maby :lolz:

edit : so found the pinout and according to it the ecu has no air temp :blink:
it's go airflow power,signal,ground

b106 B pin 8 should according to the diagram be what i need . :angry: time to get the multimeter out

I'd recommend getting a air temp sensor from either Link or a stockist of Link products. (approx 90-120) and you want to put it as close as possible to give you the best reading for it. Then you just have two wires to connect to the link. Sensor and Sensor ground.

yup thats exactly what ive done :) sensor boss is welded into intercooler piping just before throttle body .
but there's 2 ways to connect the sensor to the link . either use the existing ecu inputs (through the adapter link) and connect to factory loom ..... or buy the extra loom and switch the jumper .

want to use the existing loom to save running wires through firewall which look whorey
