Hey Dudes,

Looking at this on tuesday - http://www.trademe.c...px?id=393798039

Just wondering if anyone had any experiences with the GT30's? I've been told fuel consumption should be similar to our imprz 20n (40ltrs/350kms)...

It looks pretty nice, want something that can pull stuff - and have more internal room, baby gear takes up way way too much! wits end etc etc!

I've driven a 2.5 before and that was cool, just dodgey headgaskets etc - are there similar 3.0 issue? or they are alllll good?

Thanks!!!

30's are all good. Keltik has had one for 4 years and refuses to part with it so must say a lot for them!
They can pull stuff good. The EZ30D is good. EZ30R is better

Yup, nice wagons. Just watch for oil leaks from the timing cover and around the sump.

M35 interior space is poos!!! Fuel economy is comparable to Airbus A380. Big boat like handling. Get the damn GT30!

My neighbors have 2 of them. Definitely DO NOT RATE them. Engines get loud for all the wrong reasons, gearboxes clunk and have seen both break down outside in the driveway over the year I've lived here.
Get the GT30

No they don't but with a kiddie in the backseat, I wouldn't want anyway. If they don't advise putting kiddie in front seat with airbag, I wouldn't want one going off near them at all.
Side intrusion bars are meaty as on them (hence they weight bulk over old model), and if you don't crash it's all a moot point anyway! :lolz:

Some do have side airbags, but they are a rarity.

We have a 2002 gt30..
Fantastic car. We use it to tow the RS around the country. Those at mm2011 would have seen mine and Keltic's.
Gas mileage is good, comfy to ride in. We bought ours with120k on it for $7500.

Drove 2 of them today :) Didn't rate them really, nice enough - just don't like the seating position feel like i am sitting on the dash kinda....no kiddie seat anchoring points etc....not sure....hurt the back a little eh :) engine was nice and cruisey though - going to keep looking around taking a stagea for a spin in the weekend.

Don't like the seating position? That's a first, I've never had a problem with the BH's... Maybe it's cause I'm a BG driver...

My biggest gripes with the BH's is how soft they are, steering feel etc. But that's nothing one can't fix.

No seat anchors?? I've seen plenty of facelift BH's with factory seat anchors! Are you sure it was a BH? Or even a Legacy?

Where are the seat anchors? all i could find where cargo clips? it was a BH, and most definitely a legacy - I never really liked the seating position in my BG either, just feel a little high up....bugger oh well the search continues, stagea looks like a barge - hmm commonwhore?
