I had the rear crossmember at our shop today that I am planning on using on the Legacy, we measured it and it looks like it will bolt into the Legacy, it is actually built for a GD.. Impreza. It will be on display at the SEMA trade show. I will hopefully be getting a front crossmember from them also. The company is Kaminari, we had just finished working on the owners Lotus Cortina so I was fortunate to be able to take photos today when he picked the car up so here are a few

I'd get one just so I could say I had one. But I can't even afford new spark plugs at the moment...

Pull your handbrake just enough so the light comes on. That sends the ECU into full race mode.

Maybe i should make one, Tony had listed one on behalf for a an R200 diff rwd set-up that looked similar too, looks nice & really well made.

we have welders & i'm sure a phone call to our suppliers could obtain a length of the right grade steel too, :P

but wouldn't mind seeing what kind of price they have them for

I think it is going to be around $1800 but they have not set price yet, maybe a little more. there are others available here but they are quite a bit more than that. There is a lot of work and material costs also. This is extremely well made!

Here is the front crossmember, I really hope this will fit also does anyone know if GD impreza front crossmembers bolt in also? We checked and measured the rear and it is the same, it would be awsome to fit both into my Legacy

Huh funny that we should be talking about hammers I gave all mine away yesterday because I have not had to use them for years :) All kidding besides does anyone actually have Impreza front one in a Legacy?
I can measure it all and send dimensions but most of the time I find there are other people like myself that have already tried which saves me from trying to work it all out but if I have to open my toolbox drawer and grab some precision measuring equiptment and measure it all up myself then I guess I will. Incidentally that drawer is labeled hammers :)

Here are a couple more pictures I took of the rear crossmember. I am practically begging the guy to build me a set, he says he is not sure if he will sell them for street cars and not sure if they will fit a car with a standard fuel tank. They are still trying to figure who will sell them(buy direct or through distributer) I just know I want:)
