Hi Guys,

I will be needing to get my engine tuned once its been put in and all the bits and pieces added to it. My question for the dobc crew is who would you recommend for an engine tune and why? I know there is STM, Shred Motorsport and Garry Capper Motorsport. Im located in WGTN so would prefer somebody in the North Island ;)

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Shred seem to be pretty on to it when I talked to them and offered me to test the tune on their slipway and talk about likes and dislikes in the tune

GCP would be my recommendation, Gary seems to go the extra mile with your car, and doesn’t charge the earth, treats your machine like the princess it is!:lolz: Also gets the most out of your car without sacrificing other factors like economy and reliability. Good luck with the hunt!!

Just got my car back from 4 weeks at STM. Andre is the man out there. They did a great job. It was NOT cheap though! All things considered, I will definitley be going back there.

Approx $995 for the dyno tune / road tune / cold start tune

additional $200 if they have to take it off the dyno for any reason.

(as an aside, one thing that I didn't know before the dyno tune was that my centre diff was fucked. They obviously couldn't tune if they can't allocate more power front v rear)
