You sure do bloody know how to keep a nice garage of subies don't you! It's a beautiful thing...

Thanks, they are Great cars, but the legacy, well she is going to be something really special. I have ordered a few really neat parts for this one, I will post pics when I get them. I think you guys will like what it will be when it's done. Anyone like these wheels?

I hope to find someone to Photoshop them onto a picture of the Legacy so I can see if I like them on the car, I would like to keep the originals however brakes and uprights that I may use will prevent me from using them.

Thanks it is going to look a lot like a rally car with the roof vents etc, I think these wheels might look good on it. I can't wait to get some of the parts and show you all, I am very very much looking forward to getting them all here, much to show and do in the future:)

Thanks Reuben, it's a nice rim but looking at it on the car I think it has too many spokes and looks a bit busy.....any comments?

Agreed, i'm a fan of the speedline 6 or 12 spokes on these old girls, by far the best looking aftermarket rim for the BC's in my opinion. They were used for the early GC WRC cars, and i think maybe on the BC WRC cars. A couple of boys on the club have these wheels...

Yes that wheel was on the McRae Legacy, I love the stock wheel, but closest thing I can find to it is speedline 2016 and I assume it is 16" which probably won't work for Brakes I want either

Would like to see it in gold color but it seems it's only available in white

Not to hard to find on trademe and there have been a few sets floating around.

http://www.trademe.c...n-470967913.htm
I think these are ever so slightly different (the concave by the wheel nuts looks slightly less). But they are speedlines and could be the road versions as opposed to the WRC versions.

Speedlines on these legacy's look the bizz, I have a set for my RA.

Those are def not the same... Looks like probably the same wheel design, but with a totally different offset to what was on the rally cars (kind of like how the spokes change on the TE-37's as you go through the different offsets). Interesting...

I am still talking to people and searching for parts every day. I have just discovered the guy that owns the Alfa Romeo engine that we are building for a sports car knows one of the original guys from prodrive Legacy days and he stll in contact with many of the other guys there through Subaru days, I am hoping to get photos and info from him regarding the car and more important to me is the setup they used to replace hydraulics with solid lifters, I might still go that route for my heads if I can get the originals. As far as the wheels, I have to work backwards from there.... First trans.... Then axles.... Then knuckles ( hubs) .... Then brakes..... Then Struts..... Then I can find and buy wheels :)
